"Black Friday" Deals at CVS

This year, most of the "black Friday" freebies started Sunday, today.  So, I went earlier at 6am to grab the deals.  It only took 30 minutes to the store and back home, so it was well worth my time.  Of course, both Starbucks coffee drinks were already gone and the store did not even receive a couple of the freebies for some reason.  So, I could have made a few other monkey makers there if every item was accounted for.

For this trip, I made around $5 and walked out of the store with $21.83 in ECB's to use again at cvs for some more awesome deals on Friday!

Melissa and Doug toys

Today, I bought jasmine her first christmas presents from onekingslane.com.  This sell ended today and is now all sold out.  They were having a special on melissa and doug toys, which are awesome, but expensive.  So when you find these items at a good price, you have to snatch them up quickly before they are all sold out.  Plus, when you sign up w/ onekingslane.com, they give you a $15 credit off of a $30 purchase.

Mall Deals!

Today we went to the mall to get some deals before some of my coupons expired this week.  Here is a list of everything that I bought or got for free w/ coupons!:

1. Victoria's Secret:  used the free panty coupon that I received for being on their mailing list.\
     Total:  $11.50, spent ZERO!
2.  Finish Line:  used a coupon for a free finish line t-shirt that I got for being on their mailing list.
     Total:  $18, spent ZERO!
  Also, they had 3 pack pair of socks on sale for $3.99 & B1G1F too.   I don't know the original price.
     Total:  $7.98, spent $4.23!!
3.  Sears:  As i have mentioned before, they keep on sending me $5 in point to use.
     I used it on 2 clothing items.
     Total:  $24, but on clearance for $2.99 each.  Spent 95 cents!!
4.  Children's place:  I got just one pair of leggings, original total being:  $8.50, but I spent $5.09
      after store savings and coupons.
5. Starbucks:  I decided to get a tall cafe latte and a morning muffin, which was absolutely delicious!
     I bought the groupon deal for a $10 Starbucks gift card for $5 a while back, so i used that.
     Total spent from card is $5.08, with $4.92 left on card afterwards.  So, I spent ZERO there today!

Grand retail total is $69.98
Only spent $10.27!!!

Target pizza deal

My Dear awesome husband got an awesome deal for me at Target Saturday!  I made sure he didn't forget the coupons I had, cause that made it an even better deal! 

Last week, if you bought 3 red baron's for $9, then you get a free 12 pack soda.  He chose cherry 7-up.  So, we got the deal and used 1 manufacturer coupon and 1 store coupon, both for $1/2 red baron's pizza's.  Also, saved 5% by using the target debit REDcard. 
 

Grand total is $6.62!!!   YAY!  That makes each item $1.65 each.

 

 

Last time I went to Target, I found out about the Target debit card.  It's just like their credit card, expect its's linked directly to your checking account, so it's automatically deducted every time it's used.  You can save 5% every day and have free shipping online too!  The next time you go to Target, I encourage everyone to get a Target debit REDcard!

Total before savings/coupons: $37.84
After:  $13.85, for a total savings of 65%!!!

All together now:  before coupons/savings - $74.13 and after - $24.24.  A savings of 69%!

Babies R US clearance

Babies R Us is having a great sale again on their clothing!! You might want to get there soon, cause there are only 5 racks left of the summer clearance. So get it before it's gone!


I went there yesterday and spent $17.76 and saved $23.94!!  I saved 57%!!!  YAY!   here is a breakdown of what I used:
-5/$25 coupon first
-3 manufacturer AND store coupons for $1 off J&J products.  So a total of $6 off.
-plus, they had the B2G1F for the J&J baby products

I got 4 skirts, a dress, 3 baby bodywash/shampoo products, and a magnet letter number set, all for $17.76!

Trip to Target

Here is what I got at Target today and my total is $22.62!  Notice the formula!  It was marked down on clearance for $3.67 each and I had TWO formula checks, one for $5 and the other was $2.  So, I payed less than $1 for 2 formulas!!!!  LOVE IT!

Target clearance schedule

 I wanted to give an example of the target clearance and how they marked things down.  A good site to check out for their markdown schedule and other info is http://myfrugaladventures.com/2010/01/target-clearance-schedule-2/
Every day, certain types of items tend to go on clearance.  Stores can vary on what they mark down and when.  For example, monday seems to be the day that baby stuff can go on clearance.  So you might want to check your store to see what their schedule is.

I would really really like to buy this pictured above!!!  I am thinking about doing one of Jillian michaels routines so I can get in shape!!   I especially like the 30 day shed plan she has. :)

EXAMPLE:

As you can see, the original price is basically $100 and it is now $30!!! YAHOO! 
In the top right hand corner, really small, is how much is is marked down-70%.  They have already marked in down 3 times bases on the 3 stickers there, so they will probably not mark it down any further.  BUT, it could be marked down to 90% off.  Target marks things down 15%, then 30%, 50%, 70%, and even 90% if it is still there.   

I encourage y'all to check out the target clearance at the end caps of every isle to see if you can find some awesome deals.  PLEASE let me know what you find at your target and tell me the location too!!!

Shop Your Way Rewards

Today I just want to share with everyone the great FREE program Kmart and sears have.  It is called shop your way rewards program.  ( shopyourway.com )
You receive points on everything you spend which equal to a penny for every point.  I know, that doesn't seem like much.  But it adds up pretty quickly.  And lately, about every 2 weeks or so, i get 5,000 or maybe 10,000 points.  Hey!  that is $5 or $10 I can use on something.  You may say, "that is not much" or "I'm not going to worry about that". With $5 though, that can get free diapers when they are on sale and by using other coupons!



I used my $5 today to get some a sheet set and I payed $8.38!  Plus, I got a coupon for 15% off pillow, mattress pads, and blankets at the register.  Which i plan on using to get a nice soft blanket in a little while since it is getting cooler outside!!!

Sept 23, 2012 CVS trip

Total is $6.86!!! Got this all at CVS today!
-Used 10 ECB that i recieved from doing a survey on the cvs advisor panel
-Used 6 my coke reward coupons for free coke/powerade.
-Had a 25 % off coupon for regular priced items (coke and powerade)
-Had a $5/15 CVS store coupon that i got in the mail the other week.
-Plus, I had a manufacturer coupon for every item except the thermacare and babymagic.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE CVS!!!
